Field Day 2019 is this Weekend!

MAC will set-up for Field Day Friday at 1pm. Set-up includes erecting a HEX BEAM antenna and a LONG WIRE antenna, along with radios and computer, etc. Field Day starts nationwide at 1pm Saturday June 22 and runs for 24 hours, straight through the night until Sunday late morning. MAC club will be camped out and set-up in the Emergency Control Center classroom of the Fire and Police Department on the grounds of Lincolnwood Community Center. Free parking behind the firehouse. Look for Field Day signs to find the classroom. Everyone is welcome. Various (used) Ham radios and equipment will be on sale. Testing for Technician, General and Extra class licenses will be available as walk-ins Saturday afternoon from Noon to 5:00pm at our location. Bring two IDs and $15.00. If you are testing up, bring your current license.
